Offering easy access to both downtown Osaka, an exterior that’s reminiscent of old-world Japanese architectural charm and comfort and style unparalleled, Hanamizuki Namba Minami is an excellent holiday home with something for all tastes.

This double-story, five-person-capacity Osaka townhouse was recently renovated to bring out the home’s wonderful interior design and breathe fresh life into this vibrant retreat. With a combination of classic Japanese design elements, like the sliding doors, generously-sized wooden bathtub and noren curtain at the front, and modern flourishes, like a generously sized couch and sleek minimalist bedrooms, it’s an ideal balance of both worlds.

With its open-plan dining and kitchen area, complete with TV for relaxing and enjoying some light entertainment, Hanamizuki Namba Minami is an incredibly livable home. The second floor is dedicated to living and relaxing with a second entertaining space, the main living room, situated on this floor and both of the bedrooms. The home also boasts a small, minimalist Japanese garden for that extra touch.

Hanamizuki Namba Minami is perfect for longer-term stays, too, as Shiki offers discounts for long-term and monthly rentals, so please feel free to ask about our offers when you get in touch.

Hanamizuki Namba Minami is a wonderful home for setting up a home base if you’re looking for both a central location and a laid-back neighborhood with easy access to many of the city’s major attractions and beyond. The house is a 10-minute walk from Hanazonocho Station, a station that offers easy access to Namba’s attractions like Dotonbori, America-mura, and Kuromon Market which are just two stops away. Other attractions like Umeda Sky Building, Grand Front Osaka Mall, and Herbis Plaza are just six stops away.

If you’re looking to explore the city a little more intimately, then getting around on foot is an excellent option, as the city has many attractions nearby. Osaka’s scenic and popular Tennoji Park is about 30 minutes away by foot, as is the Tennoji Zoo and the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts. Also right by the park is Shinsekai, one of the city’s most iconic neighbourhoods and a haven for all things food. To get an unparalleled view of the city, right by the park is also Abeno Harukas, Osaka’s tallest building, which boasts an observation point as well as plenty of shopping and dining facilities.

For some local excitement and a taste of some of the city’s best snack and street style foods, the okonomiyaki restaurant Daruma, is just a 15-minute walk north. For further culinary exploration, take the train from Hanazonocho Station just one stop, to Daikokucho Station; around that area are enough restaurants to suit any and all tastes.

Upon entering Hanamizuki Namba Minami, guests head down the short hallway to be greeted by an elegantly compact but fully equipped kitchen. It comes complete with a microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle, pots and pans, plates, bowls, and cutlery for making a feast at home. The dining room and kitchen combination space features a large wooden table with bench seating great for entertaining and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV just for some local Japanese TV entertainment.

Looking towards the back of Hanamizuki Namba Minami, this is where you’ll find one of the centerpieces of the house, the washroom and bath. A traditionally sleek and deep Japanese-style round wooden tub, complete with a view of the indoor garden through the window. It’s the perfect old-style way to relax after a long day of making the most of the area’s best attractions.

Located upstairs are the living room, large and spacious with a plush oversized couch and a 50 inch 4K TV on the wall; it is a fantastic place to kick back and watch a movie on a cozy night in. With an Amazon Fire TV Stick provided so you can sign in to all of your favorite streaming accounts and pick up where you left off at home. The sofa can also be converted to a bed to fit a fifth guest if necessary.

The next room is the first bedroom, which boasts two comfortable single beds, convenient for a pair of friends or small family. Across from the living room is the other bedroom, which comes complete with a cozy double bed and an elegant, simple design. There’s also an additional restroom on this floor for convenience. Comfort, flexibility, convenience, and of course, style, Hanamizuki Namba Minami has it all wrapped up in one tidy double-story package.
