Overview
Like its sister property, Kanzaki 01, Kanzaki 02 is an effortlessly stylish urban retreat located right inside an old school (shopping street) in northern Osaka’s Yodogawa Ward. Spacious interior design, light-filled rooms, and positioned perfectly for those who want to make the most of their time in Osaka, this four-person-capacity home covers all the bases and then some.
High ceilings, bright and warm timber flooring, and raw timber beams in the roof are just some of this design-focused home’s many attractive features. The recently renovated home has been built in such a way that its traditional heritage and contemporary ambiance blend harmoniously.
Take your shoes off in the spacious, slip on a pair of complimentary slippers, and enjoy the open-plan living and dining room design as you glide between the spaces. The house is artfully split between two floors, with the first floor featuring the kitchen, dining, toilet and one bedroom.
On the second floor is an additional living room with a double sofa bed and bedrooms. It also features all the other amenities you’ll need for a relaxing and comfortable stay, including a laundry space with a washer and dryer combo, an additional restroom, plenty of living space, and a modern, well-equipped bathroom. If larger groups are looking for a place to stay, Kanzaki 02 can be booked with neighboring home Kanzaki 01 for flexibility and additional space. This home is excellent for longer-term stays, too, as Shiki offers discounts for long-term and monthly rentals, so please feel free to ask about our offers when you get in touch.
Location
Kanzaki 02’s guests love the fact that sightseeing around Osaka via this home and via public transport is incredibly easy and convenient. Those traveling to Osaka via shinkansen will also be happy to know that it’s just a 10 min cab right to Shin-Osaka shinkansen station.
The city’s most iconic shopping and tourist destinations like Umeda Sky Building, Grand Front Osaka Mall, and Herbis Plaza can all be reached via public transport in about 15 minutes. Some of the city’s other major attractions like Osaka Castle, Dotonbori, Universal Studios Japan, and Tennoji Zoo are easily accessible as they require just one stop-over.
A local tip, this home is also located right by Sanukiudon Byakuan a restaurant that serves up arguably Osaka’s best udon noodles. For the ultimate local experience, there’s a store situated just next door to Kanzaki 02 that serves classic Japanese-style breakfasts and lunches from 500 yen (less than $5 USD). On the topic of food and drink, the home is surrounded by countless affordable options, many of which take up residence inside the Mitsuya Shopping Arcade. If you’re in the mood for adventure, a two-minute train ride to Jūsō Station will give you an even bigger selection.
