Toki is a stylish two-bedroom home located near Osaka’s famous Shinsekai area, just three kilometers from Namba. At nearly 60 square meters in size, this home is a spacious offering that’s overflowing with plenty of traditional charm thanks to its post-and-beam structure design with high vaulted ceilings and exposed rafters. At the entrance of the home is a generously sized kitchen and dining area with a large elm table that’s perfect for enjoying meals and planning your day. Moving through to the back of the ground floor, there is a cozy living space with a sofa bed that can be converted into a comfortable private sleeping area, plus a bathroom with a separate shower room and a deep bathtub.
Newly remodeled in January 2020, everything in this home is brand new and user friendly. With access to an array of convenient public transport options, guests will love how easy it is to explore Osaka’s most exciting locations. On foot, Hanazonocho Station is only five minutes away, Tengachaya Station is 10 minutes away, and Haginochaya is 12 minutes away. The Yotsubashi Line, accessible from Hanazonocho Station, gives visitors incredible access to many of the biggest attractions, including the Dotonbori canal, National Museum of Art, Osaka Science Museum, Hozen-ji Temple, and the Umeda Sky Building. Meanwhile, the Sakaisuji Subway Line, accessible from Tengachaya Station, will take you directly to landmarks such as Tennoji Zoo, Tenmangu Shrine, and Tenjinbashi-Suji Shopping Street.
Exploring by foot is another excellent option, and the much-loved Tennoji Park, home to the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts, is an easy 20-minute walk away. If you’re arriving or departing by airplane, Toki is a 40-minute drive or a direct 55-minute train journey to Kansai International Airport on the Nankai Line. For the shinkansen (bullet train), it’s a simple 25-minute drive or a half-hour train journey.
Toki’s interior has been designed to ensure ease of liveability and offer guests a sense of effortless flow. The home’s open-plan cooking, dining, and living area is located on the first floor. Upstairs has two separate rooms: a master bedroom containing a double bed, closet space, and a corner desk, plus a second bedroom with two comfortable single beds.
For relaxing after a big day, enjoy the thoughtful selection of comforts and amenities at Toki. The kitchen is full size and completely stocked with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, and kettle. It has all the cooking and cleaning supplies you might need, plus free tea and coffee. In the living room, you will find a 55-inch flat-screen television complete with Netflix for streaming all your favorite movies and TV programs, and the modern bathroom is supplied with toiletries, bath products, hair dryer, and fluffy towels.
For maximum comfort, each room in the house has its own air conditioning and heating console that you can adjust to suit your needs. The beds are fitted with soft, comfortable sheets and black-out curtains to ensure you get a restful night’s sleep. A large coat rack is located by the front door, and there is closet space with hangers in the upstairs master bedroom for you to hang your clothes and feel right at home. You can also enjoy the ease and convenience of having your own washer, free detergent, and iron and ironing board available to use whenever you like.

Toki features an incredibly chique design. From the floral wallpaper to the soft lighting to the barn door to the exposed wood ceiling beams, every inch of Toki was renovated with careful attention to detail.
Toki is in a location that puts you right in the middle of the action. It is only a short walk to Hanazonocho Station for the subway. From there it is about 5 minutes from Namba, home of some of Osaka’s most iconic images like the Ebisu Bridge, Glico Man, and the animatronic crab.
Toki features a large spacious bath and shower room. Soak away your exhaustion after a long day out on the town.
Toki is also a great option for large groups wishing to stay together. Book it together with nearby houses including Hanamizuki Matsu, Suzaku, Kurumi and Hanamizuki Namba Minami to accommodate groups of up to 32 people if all 5 properties are booked together.
From Kansai International Airport
Take the Nankai Limited Express Rapid to the last stop at Namba Station (39 mins; 7 stops), then transfer to the Yotsubashi Line and go to Hanazonocho Station (4 mins; 2 stops) and walk 7 mins west. Alternatively, take the Nankai Limited Express Rapid to Tengachaya Station (34 mins; 5 stops) and walk from there (9 mins).
From Shin Osaka Station to Toki
Take the Midosuji line from Shin-Osaka south towards Nakamozu, and change trains at Daikokucho (17 mins, 8 stops) to the Yotsubashi line and get off at Hanazonocho (1 min; 1st stop). From there it is 5 mins walk to the house.
