Tsubame boasts an incredible location near some of the biggest theme parks in Osaka. A short taxi ride will take you to Universal Studios Japan (USJ) in under five minutes, and Utsubo Park, Kyocera Dome, and Osaka Aquarium in under 15 minutes. When you want to venture into central Osaka, Chidoribashi Station is just ten minutes away by foot.
From the house, it’s a direct train to Osaka Namba Station, where you can visit attractions like the Dotonbori canal, Hozen-ji Temple, Shin-Kabukiza Theatre, and Kuromon Ichiba Market. For a day-trip to Kobe or Nara, the Hanshin Namba line provides a convenient connection between the three cities.
If guests want to explore Osaka’s waterfront side, there’s a direct bus line, number 81, which travels between the house and Maishima Sports Island and takes about 30 minutes. Around the area are an athletic field, a BBQ park, and a scenic seaside promenade.
Tsubame offers good access by car to both the shinkansen (bullet train) and the airport, with Shin-Osaka Station a 20-minute drive and Kansai International Airport a 40-minute drive. Alternatively, you can reach Shin-Osaka Station, the station which services the shinkansen in 40 minutes using public transport, and Kansai International Airport in one hour twenty minutes on the train.
Tsubame is ideal for groups who want a full living and dining space to relax and unwind. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and all the cooking and cleaning utensils you may need for a delicious meal at home. The living room features a 55-inch television with Netflix for streaming your favorite movies and TV programs, and the bathroom is stocked with toiletries, bath products, hair dryer, and fluffy towels. There’s also a washing machine, detergent, iron, and ironing board for convenience.
At the front of the home is a large genkan area, which leads into a spacious kitchen and dining area. Featuring a fully-equipped kitchen, six-seat dining table, and separate restroom, this is a wonderful place to share meals and entertain. Sliding doors open into a spacious living room with traditional tatami floors and a convertible single sofa bed. The back of the home is where you’ll find a modern bathroom with a separate shower room and a luxurious, deep bathtub.
The second floor opens onto a lovely first bedroom with tatami flooring, a semi-double bed, and rustic wood beam ceilings. The second bedroom has two double beds, designer wallpaper, and cozy recessed lighting. A shoji (Japanese sliding paper door) separating the two rooms can be opened to create a spacious communal area.
All the beds, including the single sofa bed in the living room, are fitted with soft, comfortable sheets and bedding. For your comfort, every room in the house has an air conditioning and heating console. From Kansai International Airport
Take the Nankai Limited Express Rapid to the last stop at Namba Station (39 mins; 7 stops), then transfer to the Midosuji Line and go to Umeda Station (8 mins; 4 stops). Transfer to the Hankyu-Kobe Line (local) and go to Kanzakigawa Station (6 min; 3 stops). From there it is 3 mins walk to the house.
From Shin Osaka Station to Tsubame
Take the JR Tokaido-Sanyo Line to Osaka Station (4 mins; 1st stop) and transfer to the JR Osaka Loop Line. Get off at Nishikujo Station (5 mins; 2 stops), transfer to the Hanshin-Namba Line and get off at Chidorbashi Station. From there it is 9 mins walk to the house.
